Get a Consultation

At Shortwave, it's very easy to get a free full quote, analysis, and discussion about your web design needs - just call or email! We have free consultation - even if you don't choose us, you'll walk away with lots more knowledge and help with implementing your site.

We do all consultations either by email or phone. You can also fill out this form and we'll be happy to call you. All consultations will include the following:

  1. You contact us.

    Whether you call, or email, you can expect a quick response (often within the next few hours).

    We'll listen to you (prompting if needed - don't worry, you don't need any web design experience!) and determine the rough outlines of the project.

  2. We come up with a plan.

    We'll come up with a detailed presentation and explain every part of it to you:

    • Who will be the site's audience?
    • Places to host the site
    • The different web technologies we'll be needing to use
    • Basic design ideas - how many columns? Splash page, or no? etc.
    • And lots of other things! (hint: To find out what other things would be included in a SW Design presentation, call today!)
  3. We'll agree on (your) design.

    This is to be your website. What you want in our proposal, we'll keep - what you don't, we'll cheerfully get rid of.

    Having said that, we think our ideas are really good! (And we can prove it). So if you have no idea what you want, you're not out of luck.

    *For more custom jobs: Shortwave has done projects where we have had to create internal company databases, or shopping carts, or other jobs where precision and continuity with existing designs is needed. We rock at those, too.

  4. We make the design!

    After agreeing upon a due date and price, we get to work! We'll keep you updated periodically on how things are going, and keep you completely involved in the process.

    Most designs take about a month from start to finish, depending on their scope. We've had some small projects done in a few days - others have taken longer. It all depends on what you need!
